Composers

The 2011-12 Season we will feature the works of Cleveland Composers Stephen Stanziano, Jeffrey Mumford, and Monica Houghton.

Margi Griebling-Haigh has been with Panorámicos from the beginning and is not only a first class composer, but also a great supporter of the Ensemble.

David Morgan is a terrific and versatile composer whose “Secret of the Golden Flower” is probably the sexiest piece we’ve ever done:)
Michael Cohenis very gifted New York composer whose work we’ve really loved performing and recording, and whose friendship and collaborations  we always enjoy. From the Wall and I Remember are powerful in their beauty; check them out. He just wrote Aria for Panorámicos, for Flute, Oboe, Cello and Harp- it’s a beauty, check it out!
Paul Schoenfield-is a friend, collaborator, and one of the brightest lights in composition today.  His agile and seemless treatment of Folk Tunes, Jazz , Classical Training, and Sacred Music puts him in a class all his own. He is a musical Tour de Force, and a wonderful person who has a big heart for animals.
Paul Ferguson-wrote two new works for us this past Spring, Esta Montana based on an ancient Hebrew melody and Persuasion, a slow groovin’ bossa nova-both works are for soprano, alto flute, viola, bass, percussion.
William Simon is a new treasure among Cleveland musicians and we are thrilled to have him as a new member of our community.
